What documents do I need to rent a car?
You need a valid driving license (held for at least 1 year), a government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or PAN), and your original documents at the time of pickup. For subscriptions, the same documents apply along with address proof.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes, you must be at least 21 years old to rent a car from Revv. For luxury and premium segment cars, the minimum age is 25 years. Your driving license must be valid at the time of pickup.
What is included in the rental price?
The rental price includes comprehensive insurance, 24/7 roadside assistance, GST, and a sanitized vehicle. Fuel charges are separate and calculated based on usage. There are no hidden charges — what you see is what you pay.
Can I cancel or modify my booking?
Absolutely. You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 6 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Modifications to dates, locations, or car type can be made through the app or by contacting support, subject to availability.
How does doorstep delivery work?
During booking, select “Doorstep Delivery” as your pickup option. A Revv executive will deliver the car to your specified address at the chosen time. Delivery charges vary by city and distance. The same option is available for returns.
What happens if I meet with an accident or the car breaks down?
In case of a breakdown, call our 24/7 roadside assistance hotline and we’ll arrange for immediate support, including a replacement vehicle if needed. For accidents, the comprehensive insurance covers damages. Report the incident to support and local authorities, and our team will guide you through the claims process.
Is there a km limit on rentals?
Yes, daily rentals come with a standard km limit (typically 240 km/day for hatchbacks, 300 km/day for SUVs). Additional kilometers are charged at a per-km rate that varies by car type. Monthly subscriptions come with higher limits (typically 2000–3000 km/month) with flexible top-up options.
